Vaisala's PEROXCAP® vaporized hydrogen peroxide probes for simple, accurate, and effective bio-decontamination

Vaporized hydrogen peroxide is an ecological bio-decontamination agent that decomposes into water and oxygen, leaving no residue. This has led to its widespread use in bio-decontamination processes.
As a leading developer of measurement instruments for demanding environments, we set out to create the best possible technology for measuring those processes.
Repeatable measurements in rooms, isolators, transfer hatches, and other equipment ensures effective log kills and improves cycle development and process control.
The unique 3-in-1 probe PEROXCAP® HPP272 for measuring H2O2, humidity and temperature has been developed further and the accuracy is now in a wider temperature range. Furthermore, dew point and vapor pressure measurements are available.
There is also a new type of probe available; the HPP271 was developed for applications where only hydrogen peroxide (ppm) and temperature dew point measurements are needed.
The probes can be calibrated and adjusted on-site with humidity by using Vaisala Insight PC Software and a humidity calibrator such as Vaisala HMK15 salt calibrator.

Learn how Vaisala's unique PEROXCAP® sensing technology delivers reproducible measurements of vH2O2 and H2O, and saturated vapor pressure.

With this vaporized hydrogen peroxide calculator, you can simulate bio-decontamination processes in closed and open systems, or under free evaporation conditions. Simply choose your method and input parameters like: phase duration, temperature, injection rates, H2O2 liquid concentration, and other parameters. Model your process in the simulator and see the effects on the condensation point, relative humidity, relative saturation, and achievable vH2O2 ppm concentration.
